Hadith

Who wants to wipe out his Sins ????

Narrated Abu Huraira, Allah's Messenger [Sallallahu Alayhi wasallam] said, "Whoever says, 'Subhan Allahi wa bihamdihi,' one hundred times a day, will be forgiven all his sins even if they were as much as the foam of the sea."

Death

Allaah says, “Everyone shall taste death. And only on the day of Resurrection shall you be paid your wages in full. And whoever is removed away from the fire and admitted to Paradise he indeed is successful. The life of this world is only the enjoyment of deception (a deceiving thing).” (Aal-‘Imraan 3: 175)
Such is the reality of death and what comes after it. Every one of us shall taste it whether poor or rich, healthy or sick, old or young, leader or led and none of us can escape it.

So WHY do we act like death is not near? Why do we try to ignore thinking of death when it can come to us at ANY second!

It maybe that we are alive now but that we will not be tomorrow. So prepare NOW and let us not ignore the inevitable!

Virtues of Tahajjud Prayers

                                                  Virtues of Tahajjud Prayer!

*The Importance of Tahajjud.
Tahajjud Prayer or Qiyamulail is indeed part of the Sunnah of the Prophet Mohammad (Sallallahu Alayhi wasallam) which Muslims are preferred to follow all the time.

Allah Almighty says: “And during a part of the night, pray Tahajjud beyond what is incumbent on you; maybe your Lord will raise you to a position of great glory.” [Al-Isra’ 17:79]
This order, although it was specifically directed to the Prophet, also refers to all Muslims, since the Prophet is a perfect example and guide for us in all matters.
Moreover, performing Tahajjud Prayers regularly qualifies one as one of the righteous and makes one earn Allah's bounty and mercy. In praising those who perform the late night Prayers,
Allah swt says: “And they who pass the night prostrating themselves before their Lord and standing” [Al-Furqan 25:64]

*There are a number of hadiths that reinforce the importance of Tahajjud.
Salman Al-Farsi quoted the Prophet Mohammad (Sallallahu Alayhi wasallam) as saying: “Observe the night Prayer; it was the practice of the righteous before you and it brings you closer to your Lord and it is penance for evil deeds and erases the sins and repels disease from the body.” [At-Tabarani]
Abu Hurayra (R.A) reports that the Prophet Mohammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said, "The best prayer after the obligatory prayers is the night prayer." [Muslim]
Abdullah ibn Salam (RaziAllahu Anho) reports that the Prophet Mohammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said, "O people! Spread the salams, feed others, maintain family ties, and pray at night when others sleep and you will enter Heaven safely." [Tirmidhi, Hakim]
Abu Hurayra (R.A) reported said that the Prophet Mohammad (Sallallahu Alayhi wasallam) said, "The best fast after Ramadan is the month of Allah, al-Muharram, and the best prayer after the obligatory prayer is the night prayer." [Muslim]

*Best Time for Tahajjud:
It is best to delay this Prayer to the last third portion of the night. Abu Hurairah (R.A) quoted the Messenger of Allah (Sallallahu Alayhi wasallam) as saying:
“Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven during the last third of the night, inquiring: ‘Who will call on Me so that I may respond to him? Who is asking something of Me so I may give it to him? Who is asking for My forgiveness so I may forgive him?’” [Al-Bukhari]
Amr ibn `Absah (R.A) reported that he heard the Prophet Mohammad (Sallallahu Alayhi wasallam) saying: The closest that a slave comes to his Lord is during the middle of the latter portion of the night. If you can be among those who remember Allah the Exalted One at that time, then do so.” [At-Tirmidzi]
Samurah ibn Jundub (R.A) said: “The Prophet Mohammad (Sallallahu Alayhi wasallam) ordered us to pray during the night, a little or a lot, and to make the last of the Prayer the Witir Prayer.” [At-Tabarani and Al-Bazzar]

*Here are a few tips to help us pray Tahajjud each night:
1. Practice Qayloola (short nap) which is to sleep even for half an hour after Dhuhr if we can for this has much benefit in terms of being able to awaken for Tahajjud. Onl;y a short nap will suffice from between 15-20 minutes and no more than 30 minutes. Anymore than this may have negative effects with regards to being able to sleep again at night after Isha.
2. Sleep straight after Isha particularly in the summer months and then awaken for Tahajjud.
3. For women in particular it is easier to pray Tahajjud as they could awaken half an hour or 40 minutes before Fajr starts. Pray Tahajjud and then a little while later pray Fajr. For men it is better to awaken earlier and then sleep and awaken for Fajr with jamaat. Which is better? Fajr with jamaat (congregation) so waking up to pray Fajr with congregation should be a priority for men. If a man knows they will not be able to attend Fajr with jamaat then they may do what is recommended for women and that is to awaken 30-40 minutes before Fajr begins.
4. Avoid major sins in particular because major sins stop a person from being able to stay awake praying and worshipping Allah in the night.
5. Another alternative is to pray Tahajjud after Isha before sleeping. This is less reward but nevertheless still rewarding. A great scholar suggested that if one knows that one will not be able to wake up for Tahajjud then one can pray it before sleeping. Witr should be the last prayer of the night, so after one has prayed 4 fard of Isha, 2 Sunnah and 2 nafil then one can do an extra nafil with intention of Tahajjud and then end the night with Witr.

*Make effort and dua:
Therefore should try our best to pray Tahajjud as much as we can and if there was one habit that we would desire to gain then it is the habit of praying Tahajjud prayer every night for it is one of the best ways to get closer to Allah and gain high ranks in the hereafter as well as being able to make dua in the best part of the night. Once a person starts praying Tahajjud then they would NEVER want to go back or stop praying it because of the amazing feeling and sensation of elevation and hightened sense of satisfaction n contentment of the heart. There is no feeling like it and we should all aim to implement this prayer into our daily lives, no matter what it takes. Even if we can pray it once or twice a week then build up from there. The main thing is that we make the effort and most of all ask of Allah and beg of him to give us the ability to pray Tahajjud every night.
Ibn Mas`ud (RaziAllahu Anho) was asked, "I cannot pray at night." He said, "Your sins have prevented you."
May Allah swt give all of us the ability to pray Tahajjud every single night in order that we get closer to HIM. Aameen ya Rabb!!

Three Friends

                                                                 Three Friends!
Our Beloved Prophet  Mohammad (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) told story to Sahaba (RaziAllahu Anhum Ajma'een)
Once a person felt severely ill,to an extent to death,he inquired from his friend "O friend how can you help me in such condition" REPLIED "I'd served you for whole life, now i have no solution /cure for death,i cant help you any more".Man called off second friend and ask for help, REPLIED " I can help you to an extent of after death arranging for your bath and burial". Man called off third friend and inquired same, REPLIED " i will help you even after death, will go to grave with you, will come out of grave with you on day of judgement, will always remain with you".
After telling whole story Prophet Mohammad (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) inquired "you know who thee three friend are? FIRST's name is money/materialism SECOND's name is RELATIVES and THIRD's name is DEEDS, that will remain with you forever"

How to Make Dua That Improves Your Life!

How to Make Dua That Improves Your Life!

Do you want to improve your life? Do you want to be a happier person? Do you want the satisfaction of knowing the future is going to be better than the past?

Of course you do. We all want better lives. And the great thing is, we Muslims have a “secret” weapon to get this improved life. You know what I’m going to say.

It’s dua. Yes, our duas (supplication) can impact our lives immediately. Why? Because it’s direct communication with our Lord, Allah the Mighty and Majestic. So if you’re not happy with the way things are going in your life, I encourage you to turn to dua.
However, simply begging Allah s.w.t to “give me this” and “give me that” may seem futile if not done correctly. Therefore, I’d like to list a few tidbits and ideas that will improve the way you make dua, and bring you closer to Allah.
Your Intention Must Be Good!

While this may seem obvious, it may be worth noting that for our duas to be accepted, we should have good intentions. In other words, we shouldn’t make dua against someone else simply because they wronged us or have upset us.
We especially should be careful about making dua against our family members. Prophet Mohammad (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) has said in an authentic hadith that Allah s.w.t answers our prayers so long as we do not seek to break family ties.
Sometimes our family angers us and make us want to do and say evil things. When these things happen, it is important that we have patience and not ask Allah to curse them or bring some punishment upon them. Perhaps if we are merciful and forgiving to our family, Allah may be merciful and forgiving to us.
We should also refrain from asking Allah for forbidden things.
Follow the Prophet’s Advice
Assuming that you’re asking for something good and halal (allowed in Islam), the next thing to keep in mind is to make dua the way the Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) taught us how to make dua.
Please read this beautiful Hadith from Prophet Mohammad (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam):
The supplication of every one of His slaves will be granted so long as he does not get impatient and says “I supplicated my Lord again and again but I do not think my prayers will be answered.” (Bukhari and Muslim)
With this in mind, here is a short list of things you should make sure are in place when making dua:

* Praise Allah – Whatever it is you want in life, you must still be thankful and grateful for what Allah has already given you. Allah rewards gratitude and punishes ingratitude. So before you begin asking Allah for a bunch of things, make sure you begin by thanking and praising Him.
* Send Peace and Blessing upon the Messenger of Allah – After praising Allah, the next you should do is ask Allah to bless Prophet Mohammad (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam). The Prophet Mohammad (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) was the best of creation. So ask Allah s.to bless him and earn a little rewards before asking for things for yourself.
* Supplicate with emotion – Your duas shouldn’t be dry, formulaic, robotic acts of worship. Instead, ask Allah for what you want with determination, desire, and devotion. Pray to Allah with the earnestness He deserves. It’s even better if you can cry while making dua And if you cannot cry, then make yourself cry.
* Have patience – One thing that makes our duas get rejected by Allah is losing patience. A person may ask Allah for something, and they don’t get it in the timeframe they want. So they get impatient and say things like: “I made dua for this, and Allah did not give it to me.” This impatience makes us lose all the blessing of our dua.
* Be specific – Don’t say things like “Oh Allah, you know what I want, please give it to me.” Allah swt is all hearing and all knowing, but we should articulate the specific things we want Him to give us. Ask for it directly and don’t say things like “If You will” when speaking to Allah. He will do what He wills anyway. So speak with conviction and the expectation that Allah will answer you.
 Some Final Tips
There are many little things we can do to make our duas more impactful. Here are some brief pointers to keep in mind:

* Pray for your parents when you make dua.
* Pray for another Muslim in their absence without them knowing.
* Make wudu before making dua.
* Make dua when it’s raining.
* Make dua in the last moments of daylight on Fridays.
* Use authentic duas from the Quran and sunnah in Arabic (though it’s perfectly okay to make dua in your native tongue also).
* Call upon Allah using the word “Rabbee (My Lord).”
* Call upon Allah by His names (Ar-Rahman, Al-Ghafur, etc.)
* Ask Allah based upon some good deed you’ve done in the past.

In'sha'Allah, these ideas will help your duas become more meaningful and in turn, Allah will bless you with an improved life. May Allah swt accept all of your good supplications. Aameen!!
